Returns Policy

Perishable Items. Food and other perishable items are not returnable and non-refundable unless the item is out of date on the date of arrival or the wrong item was shipped. Please contact our customer services at info@greenessenceliving.com for return and credit instructions.

Non-Perishable Items. Except for food or other perishable items, Green Essence Living accepts the return of any product within the first thirty (30) days of the date the order was placed and only if the product is unopened and unused. Any returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee at Green Essence Living 's sole election. Credit will be provided upon Green Essence Living 's physical receipt of the returned product. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable unless Green Essence Living is found to have shipped the incorrect, or an expired item. All product returns are to be shipped to Green Essence Living, 301 West 7th Street, Suite 1557, Frederick, MD 21702.

You should expect to receive your credit within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a credit more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), and the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days).

Shipping

Our goal is to offer you the best shipping options, no matter where you live.  Every day, we deliver to hundreds of customers across the continental USA, ensuring that we provide the very highest levels of responsiveness to you at all times.  Shipping charges are based on your order's weight and the distance it's shipped.  Your shipping costs will be calculated for your review during checkout. 

Through our growth and expansion shipping costs will eventually come down even more.  Our valued customers will benefit by reaping additional savings on shipping costs at checkout.  We encourage you to order less often and get as many things as you can at one time. This will save you money on shipping and reduce the impact on the environment by reducing carbon emissions to get our products to you. 

Special Note:  UPS and FEDEX ships on business days only (not weekends or holidays).  

Orders are process 7 days a week. All items are shipped with a verified tracking number for online tracking and delivery confirmation. You’ll get your tracking number via e-mail once your order has shipped.

The time frame for order delivery is divided into two parts:

Processing time: Order verification, tailoring, quality check and packaging.  When ordering, be sure to allow 24-48 hours for order processing after you have placed your order.  Shipping confirmation emails will be sent to you when your products leave the warehouses.   

Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped from our warehouse to the destination.  We will ship all our orders standard by UPS and FedEx Ground standard delivery time is 1-5 days depending on location with the exception of Alaska (6 days) and Hawaii (7+ days).  Green Essence Living in all cases tries to expedite all orders in a timely fashion.

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. The above times are estimates from the day you place your order.  

For quicker processing and delivery you can have your order shipped: 

  • FedEx Express Saver (allow 1 day for order processing)
  • FedEx 2 Day (2 business days plus allow 1 day for order processing) 
  • FedEx Standard Overnight (allow 1 day for order processing) 

*Additional fees apply for quicker delivery methods.

Please Note: In some cases, your order may ship in multiple shipments due to product and warehouse availability.

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are subject to additional charges. If ordering online, your charges will appear upon checkout.

*Additional charges will be applied if the delivery address is incorrect, or if the package needs to be forwarded to a different location.
